Q: How long do the tours last? A: Each of our tours range between 4 and 4 and a half hours. Each tour slightly varies depending on traffic in the area, business at each of the wineries, etc.
Q: Should we bring food and water on the tour? A: We provide each bike with a water bottle that can be refilled multiple times at each stop. Lunch is provided at one of the wineries, but feel free to bring snacks to enjoy during the tour. Our guests can choose from the winery's full menu for lunch, and we cover the cost.
Q: What happens if it is raining during the tour? A: Our tours run rain or shine, depending on the severity. If you don't want to ride in the rain and would rather reschedule your tour on a different day, our pleasure, as long as we have available spots on the day you choose. We do not offer full refunds due to rain.
Q: How long do each of the tastings last? A: Each tour visits 4 wineries, and each of the tastings will last about a half hour. One of the wineries will provide lunch, so that stop will take closer to an hour.
Q: Do you have manual bikes if preferred? A: At Sip 'n' Cycle we only provide our electric bicycles. We think these bikes are what make our tours unique, so we encourage all of our clients to give them a try!
Q: Are helmets provided, or should we bring our own? A: We provide helmets for our clients, which must be worn at all times while riding. Everything you need to go on one of our tours will be given to you by us, all you need to bring is yourself!
Q: Do you offer any group discounts? A: We offer discounts to bookings of 6 or more people. The discount is $5 off each bike, which saves your group up to $30 all together.
Q: If we purchase wine, how do we go about carrying it along the rest of the tour? A: We have a box truck that stays at our front office. This truck will be available to pick up any wine purchases while you continue on your tour. The purchases will all be at the office waiting for you when you finish your tour.
Q: What happens if a bike breaks down or if somebody gets hurt on the tour? A: If somebody can no longer ride on our bikes, they can either be picked up by our truck and taken back to the office, or they can finish the tour riding in the van.
Q: What is the minimum and maximum number of people who can ride on a single tour? A: Our tours need a minimum of 2 people and a maximum of 10 people. 10 is our max because we want to keep the tours personal and intimate. We hope by the end we will all leave as friends!
